Design based on our online collection


You can choose a design from our online collection!

1. Make a choice!
Choose your desired design and how many cards you would like, fill in our contact form. After sending the contact form you will receive a confirmation email from us. Do you want to have something changed on the card? No problem! A card that is completely “perfect” is sometimes difficult to find. Color, text and font can be adjusted as desired. If you want to change more in the design, we can discuss this. Please mention your wishes in your message. We will then contact you by mail or telephone.

When you do not know whether it will be a boy or a girl (in the case of a birth announcement), we can make two digital proof designs based on the chosen card. In the contact form you can also indicate this in your message.

2. Pay
You can pay your payment via manual transfer or Ideal. As soon as we have the invoice amount on our account, we will send a confirmation email.

3. Digital proof
Please send us a textfile with all the content you would like to be in the design, so we can copy and paste the right information. You will receive a pdf file of the personalized designections to us after receiving the first draft proposal. This does not include small textual changes and the modification of the final (birth) data. An additional correction round costs € 15.

4. Start printing
Send an email to De kaartjeswinkel as soon as your child is born with the latest birth data (also mention the order number). We will update the data as quickly as possible for you on the same business day and send you a digital proof of the final ticket by e-mail to ensure that the data is correct. Only after a final agreement do we get started with the printing process.

IMPORTANT: Check a final, final design carefully, at this point you take responsibility for the correctness of the data on the card. If it turns out that there is an error in the design and the printed matter has to be printed again we are forced to pass on costs, this is at least 50% of the total amount. The amount of this depends on the print difficulty of the card.

5. Check your order
We would like to hear if you have received the cards and envelopes in good order. In the unlikely event that this is not the case, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can come to a solution together. It is important NOT to send the cards! If the tickets have already been sent, we can unfortunately no longer handle complaints.

On the back of every card from our collection we print our name. Consciously small and subtle, this do to copyright protection. We do not place our name on cards with a print on the back.

Custom made design


You can also get a custom made design at De Kaartjeswinkel.

1. Placing order and payment
Place your request and / or order for design customized digital print and letterpress cards via our quotation request form. The payment will follow after the order. The invoice will be sent to you by email. You can pay for your order via Ideal or manual transfer. As soon as we have received the payment via Ideal, we will send a confirmation email and include the design in our design planning.

2. Set up
After discussing your wishes, you will receive a proposal within the agreed period. In this, all your wishes have been processed as well as possible. Let us know what you think and what you would like to do differently. After receiving the first design proposal you can submit 4 x corrections to us. This does not include small textual changes and the modification in case of final birth data. An additional correction round costs € 15.00.

3. Further elaboration
After your feedback the design is further developed. If in doubt, you can receive 2 different versions so that you can compare the layout.

4. Last adjustments
The last dots on the i are processed and your personal design is ready! (How often a ticket goes into test is different at a time, but usually this is completed within 2 – 3 times.)

5. Printing (for a birth announcement card)
Send an email to De Kaartjeswinkel as soon as your child is born with the latest birth data (also mention the order number). Only after a final agreement do we will get started with the printing process.
